Controle para helicopteros sem chance, e F-18 HOTAS teria poucos botões...They are still deciding which plane/planes to model the HOTAS after addon grips to the Warthog base very likely.
When it came out it was hard to get brick and mortar distributors to go along with the idea of selling stand alone grips, now with online sales/Amazon etc, more feasible
Helicopter collective unlikely. Small market, physically large device.
New rudder will likely accommodate center sticks/giant brass balls.
He stressed that when the new Warthog level Hotas comes out it won't simple be an update of the warthog or cougar, they will incorporate a lot of new technology.
He asked what plane I would like there to be a Hotas for, I said any dcs model, but F-18/F-15 or something with radar elevation rotary.
He said the F-18 didn't have a lot of buttons (I assume they are considering how applicable a stick will be to other planes) but it seems nothing is at set in stone yet.
