OFF: Phase 2 - GUN JAMES
Now a reality for Phase2.
We have something very special for Phase 2.
We were going to hold back but what the hell...
(Now bear in mind this can't be done as we have no CFS3 game code [Wink] ).
OFF Phase2 will feature full gun jamming,
Not a clumsy workaround but a specially and superbly coded patch written by Flyby1 (Andrew Robinson) - really a stunning job! THANKS Andrew!
Full features:
- Random jams (i.e. will happen anytime anywhere )
- Jams after prolonged firing (i.e. after 3 secs or more - customisable - so you will be very likely to get a jam, still randomness in there but keep firing and you will regret it).
- AI can be jammed too! (super when out of ammo fleeing from an enemy to have his long burst into your fuselage ended with click.
- Independent gun jams On most planes with 2 different gun types (e.g. SE5a) these will jam
indepently. Most craft with two guns both guns will jam independently, although on one or two currently the guns will jam together at the same
time - maybe in the future all will work).
- Fully customisable settings
- Fully customisable settings
- Plays dreaded jam click sound
Is that special or what, small change big difference in game play
simple movie here..
Note.. the gun firing sound is in game fine when they are firing, just fraps can't record it - it just picks up the click code...
