CloD - Bombers, gunner, fighters - Their finest hour

Red bombers - T'was their finest hour

Image

This afternoon was one of the finest moments I've ever seen for the red bomber pilots. We had about 12+ people in the bomber channel, flying both blennies and spitfires. I don't know about you, but I had a total blast. Good teamwork, tight formation flying, excellent communication, top attitude... I have rarely felt that good about flying with people. Macro kept the bombers on target with superb navigation skills. Vertigo and Ratsy kept the fighters protecting the bombers, and they really helped us concentrate on finding the different targets knowing that we were well-protected. Crusader helped rally at least 8 fighters to help shake 109s off the bombers' tail. Divitor and Septic displayed exceptional wingmanship during the bombing runs. Shello lead a harrowing bombing run against panzer divisions and succeeded the mission despite very difficult circumstances. Naz kept good communication between both bombers and fighters, helping both flights coordinate efficiently. Lucky managed to scare the hell out of me by flying his bloody Blennie 2 inches from my wing with his impressive precision skills. And I must thank my trusty gunner Knuckles, who kept my tail clear and my spirits up during these long flights over the Channel.

I'm sure I forget a lot of people who took part in our operations, but I must thank all of you folks for making ATAG a way to put some color in that pretty ordinary life of mine.

Bloody good work. Haven't had this much fun in a long, long while.
