Hello,
My handle is Monguse (=TgD=Monguse) and a few of us are skinning the entire 57th BW B25'J based in Corsica 1944-45. www.warwingsart.com
This effort is a work of love and respect to all pilots that flew in this conflict.
Our documentation comes from veterans, authors and family members of veterans that flew these aircraft.
Our friend Don Kaiser has many photos of P47's based in Corsica in the following web site http://www.warwingsart.com/12thAirForce/65thplanes.html
or
http://warwingsart.com/12thAirForce/57thoncorsica.html
and here are some Corsica P47's

Hi Monguse,

You may have to ask directly to the authors - Kyrodus (skins) and Urubu (historical research). Send him a PM or wait their scraps here :okI visited your download area and I am amazed of the quantity and quality of the 1st Brazilian Squadron skins you have.

Hi Monguse!
Thx for your kindness dude :ok
We have almost ALL P-47 used by the Brazilian air force in Italy. they were based in Tarquinia and later in Pisa.
You can use our skins for your ss, there is no problem, and we will be very happy to see them in use! But we dont host them in any other site, just here. Please, feel free to point our site, i'll add your link to our bookmarks too!
Im working on some P-47 skins from the 350th FG and some more skins for the Senta a Pua! squad too, to be release soon. Its a very hard work to find pics and info about this group. Ha! and a special B-25 used by the 1st Brazilian Squad in Italy is in painjob too
I have a e-book here about bomb squads from Corsica, give me your mail and i'll send to you!

That is excellent!
It will be great to have more <font color="red"><i>muito</i></font> aircraft, especially from expeditionary forces.
By the way, I see there have been few people actually skinning an entire squadron. Congratulations on a job well done. I can tell you from experience that it is a very tedious job.
For a while I was the only one skinning. Then Bravo (Donn33) helped out and we started a web site because the one I was using ran out of space.
Toad (old 131st) is a close friend and has started skinning (C-Ration and lately San Antoneo Rose).
Leadspitter has volenteered for B25's and Serval for P47's and B25.
If you want to join in skinning let me know. We have information on Axis and Allied planes.
I also have all version of the FW190. I did the all metal template hosted on IL2Skins a while a go and if I remember correctly, Jambock_01 requested a copy from me.
Regardless of your descision lets keep these lines of communication open.
Regards to all (Saludos).

"Jambock" was the radio code used by the Brazilian Group in WWII, and it is still used in the real squad. There is another squad at www.jambock.com who uses the same call Jambock, folowed by their names. Its another IL2 squad, but very very close friends, almost the same squad
All my squadmates love history and will love to share with you. As i said, count with me to skin 350th FG and afther then, some more Mustangs
