Butch's (O'Hare) most famous flight occurred on February 20, 1942. Butch was on board the carrier Lexington when a group of Japanese torpedo planes attacked the task force. Butch scrambled his F4F Wildcat fighter off the deck and rose to meet the enemy. In the span of about 5 minutes, Butch single-handedly shot down 6 of the attackers while saving the task force from certain damage. Butch was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Roosevelt at a ceremony at the White House. Afterward, Butch embarked on a war bond tour where he visited factories and gave rally speeches. While on a visit to Grumman, Butch was able to talk to designers about the limitations of the F4F. This input led to the development of the F6F fighter, which Butch would fly later in the war.

De qualquer forma, na vida real, os gunners tinham que atirar sentindo o peso do recuo da arma, da fadiga, da tensão, etc. E se você fosse hábil para evitar o gunner traseiro (20mm), era "piece of cake" (moleza): um monte de .50 sobre papel dobrado... literalmente era "acender o charuto"
Quanto aos gunners AIs, bem, já escrevi sobre isso em algum lugar: ou eles erram de propósito ou acertam tua testa da distancia de 1k

por uma rajada "de sorte" da 7.7mm do artilheiro frontal de um... Betty,
já que estava no meio dos dois.
Usa AI_MOD quando jogar offline que acaba a palhaçada dos gunners, além deles atirarem como pessoas normais, ou seja, rajadas curtas até acertar a mira e depois senta o dedo.
Pena que o ZUTI incorporou o carrier_takeoff que é meio inútil online e acaba dando conflito com o AI_MOD que é mais útil.
