Changes in comparison with 4.09b core
Read description.

An attempt was made to reduce freezes
- Calculation of fog was moved from CPU to GPU (beneficiary for powerful GPUs and weak CPUs) Note: There is possibility of errors. If you notice flashing of bright red, please record track.
- For nVidia 8800 series amount of memory allocated for textures of water was reduced on 16MB without loss of quality.
- A bug was discovered in the water=3, water=4 modes, now render of water should be faster
- Increased smoothness of water geometry near the surface (less then 15m altitude)
- Corrected old bug where various textures could be replaced by texture of ground (sun reflection on the water would become yellow)
- LandGeom=3 mode was optimized for less memory consumption (25% less)
- Improved filtration of textures on the distance – reduced “vibration” of the textures along the rivers.
- Removed trees that were growing out of the water on the new maps.


It would be great to try new DLL on the different regimes of Perfect and non Perfect modes, water=0,1,2,3,4 and ForceShaders 1x=0,1; LandGeom=2,3.
How much faster is current version of DLL comparing to 4.09b?
Also, if you seeing blue spots on the plane from external camera (there were screenshots of that on the forums), please send me a ntrk file and your conf.ini

Installation of DLL`s.
In the main IL2 folder -
Rename current il2_corep4.dll to something else
Rename current il2_core.dll to something else

Unzip new DLLs to IL2 Main folder.

Update 09/02/08
Corrected Color of the forest and decreased contrast of its edge.
Corrected (more complex) line of the water on the coasts of the rivers and the coast itself.
Anisotropic filtering in IL2 setup sets less level of anisotropy.
An attempt was made to decrease reflection flickering of the water on setting =2
Almost completely rewritten render of the ground on shaders 2.0. ATI cards should see performance increase.
Changed regime of filtration on the edge of the forest to reduce flickering. Possible slight FPS loss near the forest.
Interessante a transferência do cálculo do nevoeiro para as GPUs (8600, 8800, x1950, x1900, etc...), hoje em dia algumas dessas ficam "ociosas" nos jogos mais antigos.

Ajustaram o bug de consumo de memória no cálculo da água e na geometria, suavizando-a (leia-se shader 3.0).

Ajustes de texturas do horizonte, melhorias, etc. Interessante, mas deve-se fazer backup das suas DLLs pois é um beta não oficial... ;)

Sugiro a quem use o Generic Mod Enabler ( http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/softwa ... _setup.exe ), criar um diretório "DLLs" jogar essa versão dentro, habilitar e desabilitar o MOD para ver se realmente surtiu algum efeito ou causou algum bug.

Novo conjunto de .DLLs do 4.09B, publicado em 15/2/08:
Readme included in the zip file, but still
New version, 02.15.08

1) Corrected bug with fog near and parallel to the ground on the low altitude – blue triangles.

2) Improved smoothness of the river coasts and working only in the landGeom=3
Same options are available on the sea coast, but we would like to know your opinion, whether it is needed or not or should it be made differently.

3) A big request to those who own ATI cards, please look closely at the bugs (if there are any)
