O Burning Skies está testando o novo servidor dedicado do DCS:

http://burning-skies.com/
Burning Skies Multiplayer Server
For DCS World multiplayer pilots, the Burning Skies server is now testing our new dedicated server technology! This is acting as a test-bed to help us debug the dedicated software with many players participating. The dedicated server will form the backbone of DCS World multiplayer.

Burning Skies is a World War II server with options to fly the Mustang, Spitfire, Dora, and Kurfurst. As an official server, will be supporting Burning Skies with prizes to the championship winners.

For a fantastic World War II multiplayer experience, stop by and fly a sortie!

S!

Since the release and a large update to this map, Urga Media has been very busy to two primary items:
The DCS: Syria map and another large, free, update to the Normandy map!

This free Normandy map update will include the following:
Improved quality of ground textures (fields and urban areas).
Improved quality of the noise textures. This will be particularly evident at low altitudes.
Improved quality of the coastline, both in Normandy and along the English coast.
Processing of fields and city vector data to use new DCS World terrain technologies.
Improved quality of the rivers and lakes.
Improved quality of roads.
Increased the number of unique objects and scenes.
Optimization and improved the look of the trees and forests.
Optimization of map for virtual reality performance.

Image
Closed beta testing is now in final stages as we plan to release for public testing at the end of this month. The new damage model will also be integrated into WWII AI bombers.

Each aircraft has unique hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical systems and materials.
As a result, the predicted damage depends on the type of munition, munition velocity dependent on distance and location of impact.
The internal effects such as engine/radiator damage, coolant or oil temperature variation, loss of pressure, loss of control or other effects will generate the corresponding internal and/or external visual effects.

We have deployed this technology to all our World War II fighters, and we trust that the long wait will be worth it and we hope that it will be to your demanding expectations.
