E a novela continua:

"... rid of unlocks?"
"(ZAK) No, because there's nothing wrong with the unlocks. Every game these days has it, so does IL2BOS."

*Even some of the fully paid-up members of the BoS Defence League* are openly critical

for example, when at 3500m by the bombsite altimeter, the cockpit altimeter reads 3850m, a 10% difference of 350m or about 1150ft.
Minha "teoria": :P

Hello folks
I did some thinking making this post public or not but after the latest events i think it should be read by our community and i hope by 1C.

But first things first.
It all started with the problem that me and my flying buddy bought 2 BoS-Digital-Deluxe Keys via the "Key for Steam" shop.
After some weeks of flying without any problems we both got emailed by Mr. Shumakov. Within these mails he asked us that we currently use a so called "press key" and ask us if we have already wrote a BoS review. We BOTH told him that we are not "press guys" and that we bought our keys legal at a regual key shop. (70 € each key - just to make that clear). He answered that this must be some miscommunication on 1C side, and that was the last time i heard from him.
Another few weeks later our keys where locked - without any comment - no email - nothing.
I ask 1C support about the problem and got the answer that these keys are "press-keys" with a limited duration.
I told them - AGAIN - that i bought the key legal and provided even my billing information.
Answer: these are "press-keys" we dont sell "press-keys" - NOTHING more - or in other terms "we dont care its your problem not ours" - SUPPORT ? ANYONE ?

Next thing we did was contacting the seller, "key for steam" - THEY, checked the problem, they where very kind and within hours theys gave us a refund and apologized for the inconvenience.
Both of us bought a new key - the steam edition - and tried to register the new key with our old accounts. That was not working as the system denied us to register 2 BoS keys with the very same account.
So we BOTH contacted 1C support again and ask them to SUPPORT us - to make the new BoS key running with our accounts AND with all the unlocks we achived while playing with the "press-keys" version.
For me everything worked fine - 1C support was short but they deleted the old key so i could register my new one and everything was fine.
The very same problem happend to my buddy of course but all of a sudden 1C is now unable to repeat this action and delete his "press-key".
They told him better to register a complete new account !!! No reason why, nothing - again just ONE short sentence - or in other terms "its your problem not ours" ...

So please 1C - what the hell is wrong with you guys ? Is this the way how you make business in russia ? We both payed 140 € for the game and this is all we get ??
Did you guys really sell thousends of copys of your fancy flightsim so the single customer isnt worth at LEAST 2 sentences within an email.
No sorry about the fact that YOUR !!! keys mysteriously found the way to some regular gaming shops ? Nothing ??!!
By the way its the 5th day since the cutoff and the problem has not been solved yet, at least for one of us.

Seriously 1C but this is a shame....

sincerely

a very upset IL-2 veteran

Iiii Condor,

Aquele Oculus Rif que tanto sonhas, no Bo$ gorou: :P

Loft- "He is really cool. But since then, things have changed.
Company sold, and before the sale Oculus started to say it's not for the hardcore games.
At some point they just denied us all to cooperate.
The new owner of this device do not see any future for him on the PC.
So it seems that there is no Oculus there at the moment, there are a few expensive and useless prototypes.
To us specifically, Oculus nobody cares.
Therefore, we have lowered the priority of the work on this device to the trash."

Counter Strike). :o :P

I find it ironic that my frustration with BoS actually led me to playing War Thunder.
The difference is that War Thunder is fun. Battle of Stalingrad is not.

Update 3: I've established contact to noone less than the legendary id Software developer Legend John Carmack (creator of Doom, Quake, ect...) and asked him how to model such a refraction effect without raytracing. It's a honor for me to speak to him! Here's what I've learned:

Nemesis: "Hi John! Is it possible to calculate refraction of light through armored glass in real time? check:Fw190 Windscreen /youtube"
John Carmack: "Pretty easy to get quite close, but you would need ray tracing to get it exactly right with glass that isn't completely planar."

fortunately, the Fw190 Windscreen is completely planar, and shaped like a simple cuboid box!

Nemesis: "John, how to model refraction of a rectangular cuboid armor glass without raytracing? I need help on that one...any how-to?"
John Carmack: "The refraction can be baked into a projection matrix. Draw outside the window with this, clear depth, draw inside normally."
John Carmack: "Actually calculating the projection matrix will be a math chore."

Now thats good news for us flight simmers who have been waiting for more than a decade for such a great effect in real time WITHOUT large strain on the CPU/GPU. Devs? It's your turn!! Show us of what you're made of, and create the best there is on the planet for us pilots! Heck, I would even pay extra money just to have that windscreen fixed :D

Resposta, no "padrão Dev's" (HAN):

"It is not yet planned.
I recommend to look at the screenshot of the aircraft in the tabernacle of the old IL-2
and of BoS and decide for yourself what looks better. "

Assim conviva com o "Ataque dos Clones". :P

"ZAK-"Guys, please, save your fingers - today is not the day when we're posting the roadmap. :) "

In few weeks - other than two - be sure.

*Culpa do limite aceleração de tempo limitado a "2X".
